With a small number of exceptions, if you're running a charity with an annual income over £25,000 but below £1m, you will require an Independent Examination of your accounts in order to comply with the Charity Commission’s requirements. Above £250,000, this must be carried out by a member of an accountancy body, such as ourselves.
We also have experience of preparing accounts and assisting with bookkeeping and management accounting for charities whose trustees wish to maintain auditor independence from their other finance functions.
